We have just published our guide to the 2021 COVID-19 NSW Business Grant.
Please note that Service NSW has this morning updated its guidelines in relation to the test period for decline in turnover. Originally businesses needed to demonstrate a decline over a 2 weeks in the period June 26 – July 26. This period has now been reduced and businesses can only choose a 2-week period from June 26 – July 17. If you have already lodged an application using the old test period, you will need to contact Service NSW to amend the application.
Lastly, also note that entities that cannot meet the basic decline in turnover test might still be eligible for the grant, but would need to contact Service NSW to discuss the situation. This could be relevant for entities that commenced business after July 2019 but can demonstrate that they have been significantly impacted by lockdown orders.
